I looked up Marxism just now, because when you applied it to the president I assumed that what I thought was Marxist was wrong. As it turns out, I did know what it is. Which leads me to believe that it's you that don't.
If you want to defend Obama and his bootlickers, I suggest you're on the wrong forum.
It's sad indeed to see so many people with this "if you're not with us, you're against us" mentality. Nobody was defending Obama, but since we didn't join in with your pathetic insults, and instead called you on them, we must be the most retarded liberals out there. digitalgiga was right to call you out as infantile. There are many, many arguments against the president, and many of those are actually decent arguments. But did you use them? No. You went for the equivalent of "He's a big stinky doodoo-head!", and then got indignant when you were called out on it.

I guess you're so pure you've never called someone a name, of course you don't ever swear, I'm sure, because you consider yourself a saint. Half of your posts make no sense, 45% of the rest are complete bs, so I won't lose any sleep over your opinion. You stand for nothing, as well. The concept of "if you're not with us you're against us" is reality in this reality, even if you can't grasp it. It's sad, indeed, you lack the intellect to realize this. You are indeed a master of nothing, but a legend in your own mind.

Wow. A 4 post troll doesn't like my criticism of President Hussein and the party of cowards and commies. Put another 3 or 4 hundred posts up and then maybe someone will GAS about your opinion. Or did you stumble on the site while looking for the rosie o'donnel lovers blog?
I'll donate a few hundred posts to him.
Too bad you don't have any worth reading. As I said, you stand for nothing and are nothing. I'd rather have an exchange with an honest liberal who makes his positions and beliefs clear than a sheep like you. If you had been there, when the Nazi's victims were lined up to go to the gas chambers, you'd be right in line saying "I'm neither a Nazi nor a freedom fighter" walking along like the vapid, effete person you are. "both the republicans and democrats are corrupt..." per you, the spineless hero of the head in the sand brigade. digitalgiga pissed me off and I responded. I bear him no ill will. You simply disgust me.

I'm a little curious as to why you think that if I don't put a R or D next to my name I don't care about anything or stand for anything. That couldn't be more wrong. I care about many things, and stand for what I believe is right. I also firmly believe that right and wrong do not know party lines. To say that Republicans/conservatives are right and Democrats/liberals are wrong (or vise-versa) is what is driving this country down the tubes. I will continue to believe and vote for what I think is right. Sometimes that will mean voting for a Democrat, sometimes that will mean Republican, sometimes independent. What I will not do is tie myself down with an arbitrary label that ultimately means nothing. But hey, you keep on keeping on. Why bother to think when you can blindly follow what someone else tells you is best? It's a hell of a lot simpler to to call everyone else idiots for having the gall to not agree with what you've been told to think. You bring up the holocaust and imply that I would stand by and let people be killed instead of calling myself a Nazi or freedom fighter. You couldn't be farther from the truth. I would have done what I consider right without saying I am one or the other. You however remind me of the people who thought what was being done was wrong, but let it happen anyway because der fuhrer said it was right.

Getting back on topic if I may.
From my experience (maybe not yours) "outsiders" in Colorado have a tough time finding jobs, even if they are well qualified for the position.
Let alone someone from outside running for office.
Im not trying to discourage you, but Im just being real.
The Native CO'ers are very afraid (and rightly so) of the Socialist left wingers coming there from California. (I too am an Independent)
Colorado is an amazing state with amazing people.
But already the liberals rules are affecting the state government and law making.
Here's one I bet you didnt know about.
I was at a gun store in Greeley CO, a man who was 68 years old and was a decorated Korean War veteran got DENIED a firearm purchase.
He was never convicted of a felony OR a misdemeanor.
What happened was, he got into a fight when he was 17 years old and hurt the guy pretty bad. He was arrested but the CHARGES dropped due to self defense!
But guess what?
In Colorado now, you cannot purchase a firearm is you have been adjudicated as a minor.
The legal definition of Adjudicated means "any court proceeding, regardless of outcome"
Isnt that a bitch? And doesnt that sound like something California or another Anti-gun state would do?
How do you think he felt standing the on the phone with the CO State Police telling him that he cant be trusted to buy a firearm?
He looked like he was about to cry. And I was disgusted as well.

The concept of "if you're not with us you're against us" is reality in this reality, even if you can't grasp it.
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
I believe it was the former administration that lasted from 2000-2008 that used a similar sort of fear mongering (that the Nazis did) to gain more power for the government (patriot act) in this country. I'm not openly calling anyone names without justifying it, or saying that i did not agree with certain stances of the former president, but i agree with FogRider when he says its people like you that are brainwashed into thinking whatever "Der Fuhrer" says is right. Instead of identifiying with either party, why don't you try using that barely evolved brain of yours to actually take a look at the issues and come up with a stance that is right for you.
btw, I dont see how you can make ANY connection between the Nazis openly exterminating human beings to anything that goes on in our country. ....Although a gas chamber would be helpful in your case.

Try doing some research on "The Trail of Tears".

Sorry about jacking the thread, that wasn't my intent, but I have a bad habit of letting myself take a topic to far in the wrong direction. If someone wants to continue on the jacked topic, PM me or start a new thread.

And I thought you were just a troll. What do you do when you get home from the car wash job? Get your plastic light saber and put the video cassettes of "Star Wars" on your good old VCR? Maybe you thought your toy guns would be the key to your joining a gun forum, or did you think this was a Darth Vader blog? You are truly a dip s..t, little man. Or do you think you're a Jedi Master. You are really a joke.

Why don't you do us all a favor and stick your head in an oven. It will immeasurably improve the gene pool. Or do you want to get your GED first? Last edited on Tue Feb 9th, 2010 11:47 pm by Gunslinger

Yes, please go back to attacking me as a teabagger... umm.. carpetbagger, whatever.
My intent is to make a difference, maybe I'll just work with RMGO to get some laws appealed.
Personally, I hate when people lump anyone into a category: democrats are this, republicans are this, people from this state are this. It shows a real lack of understanding of their situation, and worse it keeps people from understanding your side of the story, and more importantly your story. It's ridiculous because most of the time, its not true -- there is very little difference between most of us, and on a political scale, we are actually pretty close together (and perhaps part of the problem). Obama isn't a socialist/marxist anymore than Bush was a nazi, but both sides like spouting that in order to prevent people looking at the real problem.
The real problem: government is huge, enormous. I think we tax people in some areas in order to do studies on the effect of woodland elves and their diapers. This comes from both sides of the aisle, both republicans and democrats over the last 50 years have voted for tax increases, growth of the government and frankly allowed the President to have way too much power. If you hate what Obama is doing, please note he has the power to do it because we gave the President(s) before him that power. Now it's hard to take it away.
The founders of this country were pretty amazing people: they wrote into our Constitution many things, and wanted it to be hard to change those things. They understood that once you gave power to government, it would be very hard to take it back. However, they almost never attacked each other in debate, but instead the topic at hand. It's easy to call people names, but its harder to engage them to your view point. When you do that, you sometimes understand where they are coming from, and they understand where you are coming from.
I Open Carry almost everywhere I am legally allowed to in the US. I am in the middle of trying to get more people in NYC to understand the debate. However, when some mother tells me that her child was killed by a gun, I want to be compassionate, listen to her, and then approach her not that guns are bad, but that criminals are bad, that if we had more law abiding citizens carrying weapons, they can help protect other people, other children. What type of person would I be if I didn't listen to her pleas and understand what she was saying?
Let's stop attacking each other and listen and have debate. Please.

I'm not trying to attack you. I'm not necessarily against you, but I'm not necessarily for you either. The reason for that is, I don't know you. Who are you? what is your background? What are you trying to do? You obviously are very pro-2A, but I don't vote on just one issue. If you want to move to CO and run, give 'er hell. But expect an uphill battle.

Very well said! I'd have said (and have said, actually), excepty for one thing: As gunslinger noted previously, and quite astutely, both this and your further rhetoric has failed to reveal anything at all about what you do actually stand for.
It's just rhetoric.
So what do you stand for? And don't say "right over wrong" - please, we're not children.
I'm beginning to think you're simply a Clauswitzian fan of his The Fog of War.

That sounds like a decent plan to me. Never a bad idea to get the lay of the land, so to speak.
Congrats on the kid!
