I'm an active duty Marine moving to Oahu and surrendering my rights with the rest of you. Does anyone know offhand:
1. if I can carry an EMPTY holster around in protest?
2. if I can buy a mounted holster for my Harley and display it empty?
2. if I can call the police department every day and request a police escort without punishment?

I have family there, I'm sure they will send me the clips from the Honolulu Star Bulletin (I was at K-Bay for 3 years, and with Feds for 3 1/2 years)When you get arrested for terrorizing the public.
Hawaii is so Anti-Gun, and I married a local Chinese girl, it took her years to get used to me with guns....

The empty holster shouldn't be a problem. You may get questioned by LE, but otherwise if you're not carrying anyting illegal, you should be fine. This applies to both on your person and your Harley.
Calling the police for an escort may get you some unwanted attention from the police. I strongly suggest against it.

| I carry an empty holster all the time since i OC at home and often have to run out. My serpa paddle holster can be a bitch to take out so i just dump the gun in the safe and trot off with the empty holster.

no no- please please please call the police everyday and ask for an escort. that would be great. not that it's going to accomplish anything, but just the fact you are asking would be a great joke
