Hi,
A friend of mine moved to Hawaii about 4-5 years ago and she didn't know Hawaii had gun registration. I looked at the HI statutes and couldn't find out whether the penalty is a fine or misdemeanor for not registering within 3 days. She brought a shotgun from the mainland.
