I've secured the pavilion reservation for Sunday, August 9th, so that is the date of this event. SpringerXDacp has been requested to update the event thread with that date. The good news is that I didn't have to pay the $50 pavilion rental like I thought I had too.
Coincidentally, this is Venator's birthday and he's planning on being there. Along with the refreshments I signed up to bring, I'm bringing a birthday cake, too, if I get confirmation he has no change in plan the day before or day of. Come on out, whether your OC'ing or not, and let's sing Happy Birthday to him if he's there!

Mt. Pleasant on that weekend, but should be back in time.

Guys its lookin like I'm having another tight week financially. Not sure that I'm going to be able to bring something to pass. Friggin unemployment just doesn't cut it anymore. The 40 minute drive each way is gonna be painful enough on the checkbook.
Don't suppose anybody is coming from the Flint area that I could hitch a ride with? I'd pitch in some gas money AND I'd be able to bring a dish to pass...

Looks like a good day for riding. 
I'm gonna try and stop on the way and find some sort of salad type of thing that can fit in my back pack.
By the way, good to see that there is a car pool going from the Flint area.
We really need to use car pooling more often.

Heh, there actually isn't. Unfortunately we all have 2 seater cars and we need a 3 seater car, hah!

Take it to the top, used when an article has no responses for a while and ends up on page 4 as in the case, by responding with TTT or bump it brings this back to the top of the first page.

Thanks, everyone who braved the hot, humid weather. There were some faces I know and some new folks I got the pleasure to meet.
The big surprise of the picnic (at least for me) was Jim Simmons being there and hanging out for a good while!
