I was asked today (by another OCer) if we could carry at a county owned park and it seems I remember reading that all parks are 'no carry' zones no matter if it is city, county, state or federal, I told him that I would have to get back with him, but for now we will consider them 'no carry' zones.
Anyway, I am having a hard time finding the law in regards to this.
Ps, if it matters, the park in question is located in Jackson County.

| "Any public park" is on list of places where a permit does not authorize concealed carry. It doesn't mention open carry specifically.

| Right, but according to the state, any carry is concealed carry.

Thanks JT.
Now if there was a such thing as "open carry" in MS.

That decision is over 30 years old. Any cases or theoreticals possible to get that case reviewed and overturned?
