I am headed to Mississippi from Alabama this afternoon. It looks like Alabama and Mississippi share reciproocity as far a cc permits. And from what I found it looks like you don't have to notify a leo you have a gun in the car.  But are there any rules on it being loaded or capicity limits? Thanks!

Don't think there are. If so, the 16+1 XDm that I keep with one in the tube may be a problem! :lol:

No restrictions on capacity, informing, nor carrying loaded in the vehicle.  The state law very explicitly allows loaded firearms in any vehicle.
