| So what are we going to do on April 19, 2010 during the Second Amendment March? Are we going to march on Jefferson City?

Good idea.
Set something up, I'll be there. Let's make this the "Missouri Second Amendment March, Idea, and Meet up Official Planning Thread".
I'm pretty sure OC is legal in Jeff City unless someone cares to point out where it's not.
Let's just keep it simple an come up with a place to meet for breakfast on April 19th (or lunch) in Jeff City and we can all meet there and discuss "marching" somewhere.
To the State Capitol?
Signs?
Press?
Ideas?
Anyone?

About 6 of my friends and I are definitly ready to show up. We all live in or around jeff. Does any one have any ideas as to where would be a good place to meet up?
P.S. I have been lurking around here for a few weeks, just reading. I had to register tonight, just so I could let it be known that I will be at any and all OC gatherings in my area.

| I am pretty new to the whole open carry concept, and have really only spent one day OC in jefferson city. Im really not sure which local buisness would be open to the idea a small army of armed men gathering within. I am in the process of making some phone calls and trying to find out. So far I have not gotten any definite answers. Ill let the board know what I find out.

If you want a big turnout you need to send invites to groups like the Libertarian Party of Missouri and the Constitution Party of Missouri. In fact the Constitution party of Missouri has listed as a contact on their website a Police Officer named Thad Wheeler-who is also a PRO open Carry advocate and speaks at events promoting open carry. Perhaps you could contact him and see if he will be available to speak. ALso I would contact the folks at http://www.libertyrestorationproject.org and see if one of their directors-like Catherine Bleish-would be willing to speak and if their organisation would be willing to promote the idea as well. Also is there a Starbucks in Jefferson City? Starbucks is said to support Open Carry.

| Sounds like a good idea to have a march. I wonder if we should or shouldn't correlate the march with the pre-emptive law vote?
