It didn't go too bad. We had some new faces there and some old faces there too! It was nice and informative. The coolest part was the fact that we had a woman who called me and expressed interest in attending. She showed up and stayed for the whole thing. It's nice to see that we're actually reaching women carriers as well! I like the diversity that's coming about. It's adding new perspectives to an already fun group!!

My wife and I had dinner last night at Perkins.... our waitress asked, "Hey, where are your friends?"

So.... when is the next gathering.

Getting to be about that time again, shall we start looking at scheduling another 'Cuss & Discuss' or what? I think with the passing of HB-228 we'll have a lot to talk about this time around!!
Let me know if and when y'all can attend. Monday through Thursday about early to mid-afternoon works best!

I don't think you got that font big enough!! As soon as I can hear from others as to when's good for them (I think I know when is good for MT GUNNY and you) then we'll set a tentative date!!

Okay, either Mon., Tues., Wed. or Thur. at about 1530. Someone tell me the best day! Actually 1500 would work out so much better. I have T-Ball games that I have to be to on those evenings in C-Falls that start at 1800. We need to do it ASAP though, I think a lot of us are getting anxious!!

Okay, time for the AAR (After-Action Review for those of you that are confused already):
The get-together went really well. We had a few new faces and some 'Old Salts' there. In the case of JB, those Old Salts were pretty old. LOL. Sorry bud! Anyways, it went well. Lots of good questions and great discussion took place.
The only thing we're going to try to prevent next time is the whole 'Conspiracy Theory' discussion that took place after everyone left. MT GUNNY and I got stuck listening to a few people talk about how corrupt our government has been for the past 100+ years. I'd rather sit through a root canal.
Anyways, the meeting was fun and was entertaining as well! Hopefully we can get just as many people there next time or more than we had this time!
Thanks to all who attended!

Watch out sonny, or you'll never make it to the ROMCAG Club :celebrateI'll let you figure that one out.  I know what you mean about the ones talking about the corruption etc....  I was luck to have to leave, as that topic can really get carried away.

As far as ROMCAG, I don't know what that is, but I was jealous when you left and I had to wait for MT GUNNY (no disrespect to him). He got fairly cornered by those yahoos and had to sit and put up with the discussion. I know that conversation can get pretty carried away and really controversial, but this get-together isn't quite the platform for that kind of discussion! I don't really relish that kind of discussion when we're gathering for a whole different subject!!
