45-8-315 MT code Defines a concealed weapon means"whollly or partially coverd by the clothing or wearing apparel of the person carrying or bearing the weapon
Gun Laws of MT buy Gary Marbut
However I think that a OWB holster Is quite obvious that you have a firearm unless covered by a shirt or something,
My peticular Open carry method is a IWB holster , all you see is the grip of the 1911, making it wholly or partialy covered.

Can y'all help me out with acronyms? I'm new to the fourm and topic, though I have a CWP (I know that one). What is OWB? I'm sure it's simple, but not coming to me.
Haven't OCd yet here in MT, but plan to.

| I just wanted to throw this out there. I just returned from a two day trip through Montana and i half to say it went great! This was my first OC in public and short of a couple of looks no one bothered me or my group. I was the only one OCing but I was actually confortable with doing it. I think the hardest stare I got was from a 12 yo boy who couldn't believe I was carrying an actual firearm. Went through Idaho as well and Oc'd all through Idaho Cda included. All in all it was a great trip. Gold Star state for sure.

I'm also a Wa resident and may be taking a trip to Idaho and Mt. I have a cpl and was wondering if we are legal to carry open and concealed in both of these states. I have not started researching it yet. Just came across your post and thought maybe you knew the answers! Thanks.

My first OC experience was to Lowes. I was nervious and very self concious and felt like EVERYBODY was staring at my .45. Now I forget I even have it on I would like to see some breakfast or outing OC get togethers around here.
