So what happened?
Why should they be boycotted?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Please post your findings on http://friendorfoe.us
It is a great resource to help all of us know what businesses are for or against us as gun owners. It is especially great for those of us who travel to be able to know ahead where we are welcome or not.

One the flip side one could boycot anyone who wears an open carry handgun into a CONVENIENCE STORE without out expecting a few questions and with out expecting that he or she may actually need to step up to the plate and give a little education to the less informed with out getting his or her panties in a knot. The irony is that we've always referred the the Bosselman Pump and Pantry's and Pump and Panties.
I should also note that while she may be uninformed I have a huge respect for the lady behind the counter that had BRASS to approach someone carrying a handgun into a convenience store. Had this occured in say Grand Island, Kearny, Hastings or any other town of their size the the state you could have possibly had the police arive. Had this been Lincoln you would have had the entire police force arrive and in Omaha or much larger cities you probably would have been shot by the person behind the counter or the officers that responded.
Yes it is legal to open carry in Nebraska. It is also legal to be stupid. It is also legal to be ignorat as the lady behind the counter was. If we choose to keep our rights we will need to spend a lot more time educating and a lot less time boycotting the businesses that support the elected officials that support our cause. You can educate in a positive manner or you can choose to do so in a negative manner.
We really must ask ourselves if we want to spend our time making ourselves feel good because we've excercised our rights or do we want to spend our time helping others to understand and support our cause. I understand that we must excercise our rights but we don't always need to be be antaganistic about it.
I don't come here ofte simply because some of Y'all seam a bit extreme to me most of the time. But when I do it seams that I do stir the pot a bit. Please excuse my poor grammer/spelling/typo's/sentence structure etc.
Here's a question for those who work in a convenience store. Would the average worker in a convenience store be able to make a reasonable assumption that someone carrying a handgun into their store had ill intentions. I say yes especially if it were late at night. Then again with all the dopers in the world it doesn't even need to be late anymore for me to make such an assumption.
