If Obama is such a great defender of the 2nd amendment how come he didn't file an Amicus brief with the Supreme court in support of Heller? Before the ruling he sided with Dc then after dc was ruled against he sided with Heller.
Thats the kind of support we can all do with out.

Hey Dukey.....if you would pull your nose out of Obama's ass long enough to do a bit of REAL research, you'd find that EVERYTHING the NRA has stated in their commercial about Obama is FACTUAL....in his own words, quoted from interviews and even recorded video.
This stuff is all over the net......try going to Youtube and see what nObama said ON VIDEO.
BTW, I have NO love for the NRA....so, don't EVEN go there.

There are many reasons why folks don't sign on to specific briefs.

There are many reasons why folks don't sign on to specific briefs.
In this case, because Obama's a liar who doesn't believe in the 2nd Amendment protecting an individual right in any meaningful way. He might as well proclaim that he believes that the 1st Amendment IMPOSES a religious test for public office.
He supports bans on handguns and concealed carry.
Anyone who claims that he supports gunowner rights is a liar.

Well, I gotta agree with you there. If, as is likely, Obama is elected, those on the far right are indeed doomed. As are the rest of us who believe in a free market, a high standard of living, economic freedom for individuals, choice in health care, who are opposed to indoctrination of children ala Mao Tse Tung, who think they know better than the state how to raise their children, small business owners, the 70% of Americans employed by small businesses and any other of a number of people threatened directly and indirectly by Obama's communistic/socialistic government social programs-fascist economy mix. In short, Obama is the rope with which capitalism is preparing to hang itself.
In all fairness though, we are also screwed if McCain is elected and it is only a matter of degree rather than absolutes.
PS: Posting already debunked rumors about Palin and her family in no way bolsters any case for Comrade Obama.

To tell you the truth, I'd like to see Texas secede from the U.S. as well as Alaska, then form one country. We would be the biggest OPEC nation on the planet, producing about twice as much as all current OPEC nations combined. Oh, BTW, I want Louisiana to come along for the ride, too.
But until that happens, Old Glory will fly in my front yard for all to see.

| I can sympathize with an independence movement. The federal government has become a malignant behemoth, and with nObama at the helm, I suspect the independence movements in many states will renew. After 9/11 there was a national solidarity that will no longer exist if the treasonous liberals are thrust into power.

McCain always been a guy who has skated by (just like Bush). He got into the Naval Academy because his grandfather and father were Admirals - and finished 5th from the bottom in his class. He destroyed 4 American planes in training and while in service. He ditched his handicapped wife and family for a hot young blonde. He was the worst of the Keating 5 with all the money, free flights and his wife's joint investments with Keating. And his choice of the Great Alaskan Bimbo is one of a myriad of choices which proves his inability to make smart decisions.
As far as Bill Ayres goes. Obama was 8 years old when Ayres supposedly did his misdeeds. So I guess Obama was packing those pipe bombs after school? Obama happened to be on a School Board in Chicago that Ayres was also on. As the story goes their relationship was not close. You do know that Bill Ayres was never charged with any crime and that he is currently a Professor at the University of Illinois - Chicago Campus...
McCain is desperate. This story of Ayres was brought up during the Primaries last Spring along with Tony Rezo and both stories never gained traction then and it won't now.
Comp - Nut, you can't be that stupid thinking Obama hangs around with Terrorist are you? I mean if he did wouldn't DHS (Department of Homeland Security) roust him? I think not because the NeoCons are just trying to spread lies, they can't win on substance thats for sure.
