I also heard that Wally Wolrd is going to jack up their ammo prices.  I hope it's not tru but I also got this info from a reliable source ( a layed off plumber).....................

Went to three different WalMarts today looking for ammo....

First Wally World I stopped at, 35mins from the house and their ammo shelf was almost wiped out... I did find 9mm Blazer Brass 115gr FMJ 50/box for $9 but I didn't buy them cause I was looking for the $15.97 WWB 9mm 147gr JHP 50/box and they were out. I should have gotten them when I had the chance

Worked my way back toward home stopped at the next Wally World 15mins away... their ammo shelf was near empty... and the price for those WWB 147gr JHP's are $17.97... no luck there so I left.

Got to the Wally World near home, was in line behind a guy who seemed to be buying as many Blazer Brass .40 S&W and other ammo as he can. I guess Wal Mart limited him 10 boxes each caliber but I wasn't there to hear the whole story. There were two boxes of WWB 147gr JHP's left for $18.97/box I'd figure I would get a box while I found some so I did....... +tax = $20.25

Must be that election scare.. Now should I go back to the other Wally World and get as many of those Blazer Brass for $9/box of 9mm 115gr FMJ 50rds?

I just bought 500 (10 boxes) rounds of .40 at the walmart in cary @tryon and Kildare.  They still had 8 boxes left or so.

The lady asked for my ID, to check my age. :uhoh:  And then proceded to ring up each box individually.

That Blazer at $9/box is the cheapest factory 9mm you are going to find. Only downside about Blazer is the brass is poorly made, it's still reloadable but I wouldn't expect great consistency from it.

Never tried Blazer.

I've been shooting Winchester FMJ 9mm for a few years now, and have never even once had a problem, misfire, misfeed, or anything with the ammo.

It costs $9.xx per box at Wal-Mart.

Hey folks.  New here. Wanted to say hello and jump in.

I just picked up two boxes of .40S&W Blazers at Wal-Mart in Brier Creek today.  They were $12.47 a box.  They had about 10-15 boxes left.  Glad I didn't go to the gun show and stand in line just to pick up some ammo.

What's up!? The SHTF soon ya'll! Stock up on food, ammo and get ready for some serious problems this year. America is broke and China is looking for a payoff. Don't trust government numbers. If they say it's 7.8 % unemployment it's more like 12%. Katie bar the door!

Needed some practice ammo so bought the last 3 boxes of WWB .357 Sig on the shelf for $24.97/50rd box from the local Wally World... I seem to be able to find .40S&W everywhere I go but can't seem to find Wal Marts with 9mm rounds :banghead:

Don't know where the BBQ Capital of NC is, but that Walmart @ Brier Creek still had about 2 dozen blazers in 9mm.  Plus, Young Guns in Apex still had maybe a brick or two of the 9mm Wolf Ammo.

Picked up 3 50 ct. boxes of 9mm WWB last Tuesday for $35 out the door. There were still 4 boxes on the shelf along with at least 7 boxes of Remington 9mm as well.

If anyone finds a walmart with .357sig or 9mm can you post it?

I am in need of both, and only have a handful of each.

Ed's on US-1 had 357 SIG when I was there last weekend. I don't remember the price but it was reasonable. You can call ahead to make sure they still have some: 910-692-7936. They also had plenty of Independence .45 (headstamp *1*, low quality brass) at $16 a box, and various brands of 9mm for around $11.

Tonight, Wal-Mart on Yadkin/Skibo in Fayetteville has one box of Blazer 9mm and one box of Blazer 40 left at the usual prices. They also got in a shipment of Federal Power-Shok rifle ammo. $12.97 a box for 270, 30-30, 308 and 30-06. Good hunting ammo and the brass is great for reloading.

If you're willing to make the drive... I left the local Wally World here in Lexington not too long ago, they had plenty of WWB .357 Sig 125gr for $24.97/50rd box which I just broke my wallet buying .....

Probably... 100 boxes of that Remington $10 box .223 55gr... About 10 different boxes of .40 S&W which really makes me wished I had something to shoot it with... A few boxes of .45 Auto
