So it sounds like everyone is pleased with this, then we shall put it in our datebooks.

so what time is everyone want it to be then?

1800 sounds good to me.  That gives me time to run home and wash work off, lol.

I'm not going to be able to make it this weekend.

Trying to graduate in two weeks and have too much to get done.  Can't justify taking 8 hours for a dinner.  Maybe next time, especially if it is during the summer.

Alright everyone its confirmed for 1800 at the Cracker Barrel. It will be the "Open Carry" party. I'll be showing up 30 minutes prior to ensure that we have a spot.
I have an iPhone so if you send me a pm I can see it on my email and I'll give you my number if you need to call me or something.

I'm pleased to report that the dinner for Jacksonville, NC (and surrounding area) Open Carry Solidarity went off quite successfully and many people had questions about our open carry which seemed to make it all in all a great success.

Members in attendance were including myself:

Kaliga
daehawc

as well as some family & friends.

We're very sad some people could not make it this time, but we who did attend enjoyed ourselves so much we decided we want to do another one next month.

The next proposed location was Golden Corral, all in favour? Any opposed?

I would just like to say that our Raleigh/Cary Golden Coral had the worst turn out of any of our dinners.  It may have been a location problem.

Golden corral is actually a really good choice I think.  Plenty of options for food, and seating for large groups is never a problem.  We'll also get plenty of exposure as we'll be walking to and from the buffet.

I'll try and bring my girlfriend next time, all though she wont be carrying (not that she has anything against it...she's just not up to it yet, not to mention she doesn't have a belt or holster lol).

Anyway it was nice meeting you guys, and gals!  I'll be looking forward to the next one.

I actually had a great time, eventhough I was 30 minutes late.  It was great meeting everyone except for ComradeV who doesn't like me.  Ha Ha looking forward the next event and hopefully we will have more in attendance.
