I looking for a High Point 9mm or a Smith and Wesson M/P, im on a buget so about 250 is the highest I can go. Please send me a private message responding as to person to person sale.
Looking foward to open carrying in this area since supprisingly enough Kent PD's night time Commander (whatever his title is) understands the law not that I need his permission but id rather him know than get locked up.
Another question (Glovebox clause)? I have read and read and cannot find any wording that says you can trasport a gun in a glovebox or in your center consol or even under your seat in a container of somesort. I dont see any probs with this but im a noob so I wanna be clear on this.

You don't say if the gun being transported is loaded or unloaded, nor do you say if you have an Ohio Concealed Handgun License.
Only those with a concealed handgun license can transport a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle here in Ohio. Unlike some other states, there is no legal way for an unlicensed person to transport a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle.
The law says the loaded handgun must be transported in certain specific ways:
1. In a holster on your person.
2. Glovebox or vehicle console.
3. Locked case which need not be in plain sight.
4. Unlocked case having a closing mechanism such as a zipper or clasp which MUST be in plain sight.
There are a number of ways to become more familiar with Ohio firearm laws.
1. Read the Attorney General Handbook available here:

And if you do NOT have a CHL, MAGAZINES must be unloaded in a vehicle, even if the firearms themselves are unloaded and inaccessible.

I do not have a ccw and will be carrying openly and transporting unloaded along with magazines unloaded,but for open carriying can you transport as I stated above? in a glove box or center consul? nothing talks about that.

For those without a concealed handgun license, this is the applicable law:
(C) No person shall knowingly transport or have a firearm in a motor vehicle, unless the person may lawfully possess that firearm under applicable law of this state or the United States, the firearm is unloaded, and the firearm is carried in one of the following ways:
(1) In a closed package, box, or case;
(2) In a compartment that can be reached only by leaving the vehicle;
(3) In plain sight and secured in a rack or holder made for the purpose;
(4) If the firearm is at least twenty-four inches in overall length as measured from the muzzle to the part of the stock furthest from the muzzle and if the barrel is at least eighteen inches in length, either in plain sight with the action open or the weapon stripped, or, if the firearm is of a type on which the action will not stay open or which cannot easily be stripped, in plain sight.
Also, as Deanimator pointed out earlier:
5) “Unloaded” means any of the following:
(a) No ammunition is in the firearm in question, and no ammunition is loaded into a magazine or speed loader that may be used with the firearm in question and that is located anywhere within the vehicle in question, without regard to where ammunition otherwise is located within the vehicle in question.
