What would be some other states equivalent of the SLED. Specifically NY. I cant seem to find it on google.

Equivalent how? 

SLED administers SC's CWP. The NY State Police Pistol Bureau seems in this way to be equivalent.

That would probably depend on exactly what it isyou're looking for.  New York seems to be much more fragmented than South Carolina, which leads to better job security for more government employees.  Try looking here, you might find what you need.
