Mostly a Ruger P97DC here. I do carry my Glock 17 from time to time.

Do you actually carry a Luger pistol (aka P08, Pistol Parabellum), or just a pistol in 9mm Luger (aka 9X19, 9mm Parabellum, 9mm NATO). If the former, I'm extremely impressed.

I don't know what to carry. I like the idea of revolvers and no jams, but I like some safety features pistols have. I like those XDs for one.

Primarily I carry a full size USP in 45. Second to that is the full size 45 Para Ordnance I built years back.
Often, when in western hat and boots I will wear a USFA Single Action Army, 45 Colt, with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in a nice western rig.
A lot of times I carry my Para Ord Para Carry in a safe-packer on my back-pack strap.
It all depends on where I'm going and how much I'll be driving or walking.

For me, I've been consistently sticking to 2 of mine for carry, lately. A Sig P239 and a Springfield XD 4" which I purchased a couple months ago, both .357sig. The other XD (.45 GAP 5" Bi-Tone) that I used to frequently carry, until recently, now stays in the safe most of the time with the other range pistols... It'll probably be the next one to go out the door as 'trade-fodder' during my quest to consolidate my pistol calibers down to just 9mm, .357sig and .45acp.
I carry the XD in my Blackhawk Serpa CQC, and the 239 in a Don Hume 721OT. Both are stoked with Double-Tap 147gr .357sig cartridges.

Careful with that... if I'm not mistaken, and if the law hasn't been changed, it is illegal to carry a pistol with a threaded barrel in Virginia (such as your MK23).
How do you like that M9A1? Do you use the rail at all? I often pondered getting one... But doubted that I'd ever use it for anything other than a HD gun, with an X200 attached.
