This is what I know.
Restaurant Carry goes into effect July 14th
Parks Bill goes into effect September 1st (local parks have right to restrict).
Long Gun Bill goes into effect July 1st (right to carry loaded long gun in vehicle with HCP as long as chamber is empty)
Freedom Act Bill (10th Amendment) will go into effect after 10 days on Governors desk as he will not sign it)

Park carry is effectively immediately in national and state parks. Local parks goes into effect Sept. 1st, to allow them time to post if they want.
Loaded Long guns went into effect immediately after being signed, per Senate amendment 3, section 2:
Section 2: This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.

Close, but not quite right. National Parks goes into effect Feb 1st, 2010. That's when the credit card bill it's attached to goes into effect. So don't be caught with a loaded firearm in a national park until then.

Can you give reference to the park carry law all I can find is on capitol.tn.gov and it looks like the last action taken was back in may but it did not give any date that said law would take effect

HB0716 signed by the Governor on 6/12/09
Seneate Amendment 2 & Senate Amendment 3 are what passed.
