I plan on traveling through Tennessee from Louisiana on my way to Kansas this weekend and wanted to take my handgun with me on my journey.  I wanted to know if anybody has any advice on carrying laws in the state and where the gun has to be stored, loaded or unloaded, in order to not violate any state or local laws.  I do not have a concealed carry permit, so I can't count on reciprocity laws to apply to me.  And if anybody has information about the laws in Missouri or Kansas, that would be appreciated too. Thanks.

In TN the gun must be unloaded and the ammo not be stored close to you or the weapon.
