You can't be ejected from public property unless you're breaking a law (or outside normal business hours, parks after dusk, etc). Carrying a firearm is not against the law, so they can ask you to leave, but you have no duty to do so. You're not on the premise unlawfully, as you have a legal right to be there.
The premise of using the prior court case as a precedent to support their position is BS.
It's essentially saying that a city owned property, when used/leased by a private company, is no longer under city control, and people using that leased facility must use the facility as if it were private property, which MAY enforce a 'no firearms' rule.
I find it funny that he's specifically trying to attack CPL holders, I bet he doesn't even know you can carry openly without a 'permit'.

This guy isn't stupid. He's just a leftie wacko that thinks government has to save all of us from ourselves. Of course he knows all about the state law. He thinks he can supersede the law. What is needed to defeat him is a lawsuit, which I maintain should be brought by the NRA legal staff. Any measure short of that is at risk of failure.

I'm by far no legal mind, just a regular Navy guy. Like you, I am like you pissed with the elected officials who continue violating the vary things I serve for; Our Rights and Freedoms.
It would appear to me that someone has the City Attorneys and LEO officials (more public servants) in their hip pocket. For all these elected, or appointed folks to run the government and site the laws of the state and then disregard RCW 9.41.290 & RCW 9.41.300 as if they were written for them to twist in any fashion that meets their personal ideas is criminal. How can Seattle City Attorney and the State’s AG not inform this Mayor that he is in fact the one breaking the Law with this attempt to violate the rights of Americans and State Law? These folks should be thrown out of office and sent to the Western Front, Southwest Asia that is (Baghdad).
I read the Mayor’s Executive Order 07-08 signed on 6 June as worthless and making poor toilet paper. An attempt to back door Americans and spread his Far Left thinking.

Here is an idea - why not a public burning of Executive Order 07-08 in a City Park while some folks open carry? The press would be all over it.
Like burning draft cards - totally protected free speach!

Burning executive orders might be a violation of municipal ordinances. Checking the ordinances at http://clerk.ci.seattle.wa.us/~public/code1.htm to see if I can find something.

What global warming? It snow last night above 3000 ft. It's June, you know, summer time, not suppose to snow. I had the heat on last night because it's so fricken cold out. Global warming is the new con job being done on America to take more freedoms away.

His next Executive Order will announce that he has acquired the blocks from the Berlin Wall and will be constructing a Barrier to protect the citizens of Seattle, or petition for Statehood so he can make his trumped up Laws legal.

Expressive conduct rights under O'Brien applies, so burning executive orders unlawfully should just be like unlawful flag burning - AOK under First Amendment.

Looks like even the lady who got shot is against the Mayors gun ban. sounds like she at least knows that banning legal guns will only lead to a victim rich environment.

Two weeks ago, a young couple were hit by stray gunfire and a third man was injured after a fight broke out at Northwest Folklife at Seattle Center, which the city runs and owns. Sarah Thorsnes, a 21-year-old who was shot in the thigh, said she appreciates the mayor's efforts but does not support his prohibition.
"It's putting a strain on people who have a right to own guns and should know how to use them properly," said Thorsnes, who lives in Renton. "I still stand behind needing to look at mental health as a problem rather than banning guns from people who have a right to have them and use them properly."

And this from an assistant state attorney general
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/366336_guns10.html
The question of whether Nickels' order is legally defensible would likely rest on whether it crosses a line from the administration of municipal affairs into a policy excessively directed at the general public, added Eric Nelson, an assistant state attorney general.
"It's an interesting question as to how far can the city stretch these principles to the extent that activates in parks and community centers are not rules of general application that are subject to the pre-emption," Nelson said. "It's going to be a question of fairly nuanced line-drawing; that's my view."

Sarah is aware that misuse of guns is a people problem not a gun problem.
