Anyone plan to attend? I am of Scottish background. It will be in a public park.
I will not be in kilts however I meet a OCDO member in kilts.

I'll be going. Not sure about OC'ing though. I'll see how it looks first.

At least not until I check out the situation at the entrance!
Anyway, how is this event considered? Is it a government sponsored public event? or is it a private leasing of the grounds? I'll have to go look...

Well it is sponsored by the Celtic Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization in Edgewater Park, a city or county park? So where does preemption fall on that one?
I notice they do have a beer garden and whiskey of the worlds tent, so maybe, for a couple hours at least, the gun will have to be in the car...

| Only if they don't permit children in those specific areas. I see about it being rented out by the organization would have to find out what their gun views are.

Went to the games Saturday afternoon. Open carried all the way from the parking and all day while there. Not a problem. No signs and nobody noticed or cared. We are going back Sunday for most of the day.

| Right on glad to hear no problems. Skagit county areas tend to be more tolerant of firearms.
