I created in Word to standardize the fonts. Rearranged things a tiny bit. It has the correct requirements for carrying in a vehicle without a CPL. I added the hunting regulation prohibiting all loaded rifles and shotguns in vehicles. Corrected the couple of references to other RCWs that needed zeroes added to the numbers.
What do you think? Should we sticky this version at the top as well as the original ?
I also have the MS Word version available if anyone wants it.

and its Fish and Game not hunting
also washington is a shall issue not a must issue state.

Thanks! I'll change must to shall. It is not Fish and Game either, again, read the statutes. It's Fish and Wildlife. I'll change it to what is in the statute.
Ok. I changed hunting to fish and wildlife and changed must to shall. Does anyone have anything else before I post the new pdf file?

Hold on. The legal term "shall", when translated into peoplespeak is "must". I know that every member of the forum knows the meaning of "shall" but not the general public. They are the target audience and I actually thought "good - there will be less confusion now."

I'd rather see standard bold letters for "Washington Gun Rights" to me it looks like "Gin rights"

Now that you mention it, yes - standard bold type. Bias alert: I've always hated that olde English type or font.

OK, so, not counting my votes:
I have one vote for "shall issue", one vote for "must issue".
I have two votes for plain font for "Washington Gun Rights".
So far.
What's wrong with Gin rights anyway?

How about this for shall vs must issue faq:
1. Washington is a "shall issue" state. This means that the issuing agency must issue a Concealed Pistol License (CPL) to any applicant that meets all statutory qualifications.
OK, the newest changes have been incorporated and the link in the opening post has been updated with the newest version.

Kind of nit-picky, but on page two the lower portion of the second column, and the upper portion of the thrid column seem to have a different margin set.

Did you bring this up in regards to the original pamphlet too? Have you ever given out one of the original pamphlets? It was in there too. If you want to edit it, I will be happy to send you the word file that you can edit for yourself

Boo Boo, can you cite an example of something illegal that has no law prohibiting it, preferably in the context of firearm carry, which is the obvious context of the pamphlet? I thought Statement 8 was a tautology.

The Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, prohibiting the manufacture, sale and importation of intoxicating liquors, was ratified on 16 January 1919. Its provisions went into force a year and a day later, on 17 January 1920.
Prohibition remained in effect until the 18th Amendment was repealed by the 21st Amendment, which was ratified on 5 December 1933 with immediate effect.
Come this December 5th we can all celebrate 76 years of Gin rights.

| but having it their mans you are legally saying if its nopt in the pamphlet its legal. which is to give legal advise. thus you are implying that you are providing a legal service
