I'm not an employee; I've known Lyle for about ten years, but have never really been employed by him (I've helped clean up and stuff, that's about it).

I live in Kirkland and work for Volt at Microsoft.

If we charged 100 dollars for our tri-rail, we'd be selling at a loss-- bankrupt in about a week.  What youre doing, essentially, is comparing a $40 BSA red dot paintball sight to a 550 dollar Aimpoint, or a 40 dollar SKS scope/mount combination to a Leupold or a Swarovski optic.  I could go into the elegant engineering and manufacturing details, their relative costs, and their implications to the user, but this isn't the place to do it.  Read the description on my web site.  I didn't just make that up as marketing fluff.  Suffice it to say that we started doing what we're doing in response to, as an alternative to, the type of product you're discussing.

Open carry-- yeah!

Glad to see you're finally on the board tanman.

Tanman is a good friend of mine, was OCing before this site even existed (although not as much as he does now), and has been instrumental in pushing the concealed carry on campus and open carry issues around the Tri-Cities and Pullman.  He's a great addition to the OC movement and to this board.  Welcome aboard.

I'm thinking Friday as it's 99 cents crisp bean burrito day (yes, I like Taco Time...a lot)

Just give a call or whatnot on a time and taco time will make at least 99 cents

Dude, dave needs to join us for some sushi when you get back, or before (assuming you like sushi Dave). I need some more guys to OC in there with me. It gotten to the point where I don't even have to order anymore:) Apparently my nickname is 'the gun man' according to James and Sun, I told them they should call me that in Korean, not English...for obvious reasons.

PM me who this is.  I eat in there on a weekly basis (or at least I did before I shipped to DSS) when I get back we WILL make an OC sushi run, I am craving some good sushi pretty hard.  I have never seen anyone else OC in there unless they were with me at the time.  Glad to have you on the OC sushi bandwagon, just slightly confused as to id.  I should be back in about a month unless I get mobed or deployed again.

Hey all,

Nice to see so many P-towners around. I've been wanting to carry owb, but have been a little hesitant as I work for the University and am finishing up my thesis. Although, I'd like to meet up with you all sometime.

Ken

Welcome! Too bad you missed the party today, myself and Dave the Welder OC'd to the 4th of July in the park party. Quite fun...ended up making a good impression on everyone we talked to. It is something that is easier to do if you start with people who are comfortable with it and familiar with the laws. I'll keep you posted on OC lunches. Tokyo-Seoul is a very OC friendly place, several of us eat there often. Perhaps next week when they re-open some of us can get together and enjoy a bit of sushi? TTYl

I must admit, never tried any sushi. However, the Tokyo-Seoul place has looked interesting every time I walk by. Keep me posted and perhaps I can make it.

How does July 30 sound for a sushi get together, I will be back in the area around then and will have to take care of abunch of things getting ready for school n whatnot.  Plus I have had a hankering for some good sushi for quite some time now and I know that I will be wanting to experience freedom again.

Most likely on the 27th seeing as how I graduate on the 26th, I am thinking that I will be up in spokane for a few days making sure that everything is straight up there cause I am going to the west side after drill for a couple of weeks.

Here are the pictures of Tanman and I at the 4th of July party in the Pullman Park.  Notice our great OC shirts.  Earlier that day we OCed in the mall in Moscow and found these shirts in Hot Topic.  We also ended up talking with a Desert Storm vet in the mall who was very friendly towards us OCing.

Tanman is on the left, I'm on the right.  In case you can't read the shirts, they say "Meteors don't kill dinos, dinos kill dinos".  I'm pretty sure that it's an anti-gun shirt but they're so funny and wearing them got so many comments.

Here's Tanman dancing with my girl at the concert.  You can't tell but he's right in the middle of a spin.  "Luckily" nobody called 911: "What's he doing sir?"  "He's just dancing there!!!!"

Love the shirts. I agree, likely an anti-gun shirt, but OC'ing with them on turns it 180 and makes it work for our cause! Good job and lookin' good while doin' it!

Having some car problems, but hopefully I will be back down in P-town to continue the OC goodness.  So far this year is turning out to be a very OC friendly year.
