I understand to heat problem. I too was a certified corrections officer when I lived in Illinois. Worked at the Pontiac Corrections Center otherwise known as the Chicago hoodlum state pen. It got so bad, I would come home, kick my wife and kiss my dog. A darned tough way to make a living.

we could always get the FOP and out number the angry ones :)

I could never handle corrections man, like I told the other previous poster, I wont get in the bee hive and play around. But ill just visit the worker bee's out getting pollen every now and then.

it is hard. its like born in you. its not something you get into for something to do.  i love it. and i have come to leave the stuff that goes on in jail stay in jail you never want to take your work home
