A member of another forum is going to open carry while on vacation in
Wyoming. He's not a member of OCDO. He's blogging text and photos.

Day two is here:

It's the day we actually were in Wyoming and started to open carry.
(Guess I'm not a unicorn anymore, since I signed up. Meh. Wife says she always wanted to be the unicorn's mate, ever since she was a kid.)

It was great getting to meet you and Debra! Sorry that I didn't have more time to chat at the Appleseed - kinda busy down on the other end of the line doing some teachin'
Too bad you guys didn't make the second day of the shoot, especially since Boston made a surprise visit.
Enjoying your blog, but I would be remiss if I didn't call you out on one thing... don't take it the wrong way as I know you're new to this stuff...
Devil's Tower and antelope and battle rifles! Yay!
ummm, "battle rifles"... no, at least not if you are referring to that Mini-14
Don't confuse a Ruger Mini-14 with a M14 (M1A). The former is considered a barely acceptable poodle-shootin' ranch rifle. The later a true battle rifle.
Many folks don't consider anything chambered in .223 or even 7.62x39 a true battle rifle as the ballistics just aren't capable of any kind of distance. Only rifles chambered in the likes of .308 (7.62x51), .30-06, .303, etc. would possibly be considered a battle rifle.

You know you’re in Wyoming when the elevation is four times the population!
Truer words have NEVER been spoken! I miss Wyoming. Last time I visited was thirteen years ago.

Last two days, up now. Us sadly going back to California up now (some stunning photos of Utah and Colorado - with snow - in there too, and the open carry dinner in Cheyenne):
