Oh, they're not stupid.  They know only too well that you can't be entitled if you aren't a victim.  They choose to be a victim, and the more people join them in it, the more power their politicians will accumulate over others to service their entitlements.

Oh!  Great observation.  Makes a lot of sense.

High praise indeed from one who doles compliments out like bread crumbs. :P :D

How about a smile and a wink with the comment "Actually, I'm carrying two deadly weapons."

If someone, male or female, says my carrying a gun is compensating for a "teeny weenie" I reply:

"Never heard that pick up line before. How's it work for ya?"

I believe it was Frued that said people that didn't like guns were sexually immature. So, all those hoplophobes out there are living proof of their own psychological problems.:)

Jeez, If somebody accused me of "compensating" I would tell them either :

"Ma'am, this 1911 only has a 5 inch barrel. If you call that compensating I guess you don't have a lot of experience."

or

"Dude, if a 5 inch barrel is your idea of compensating I feel sorry for your wife."

But that would be for people who know me well enough to try that nonsense on me.

Caliber is more important than barrel length.  Then add in grip, trigger control, alignment and number of rounds fired.....well you get the point.

We aim to please;  you aim too, please.
