myspace has had some issues where minors were displaying firearms in a menacing/gang related manner and it gave them some bad press.  so now they are more strict about kids and guns.  they aren't the evil empire, they are just a business trying to make money.  you can't make money when thugs are exploiting your site and giving you bad press.   however, i effing hate myspace and facebook, but it has nothing to do with guns.
