Seabolt, thanks for the updated version.
We all know the Boise airport is a Gun Friendly place right, well is ended up that way but scetchy for a few seconds this afternoon.
I was at the Boise airport this afternoon, OCing for the 4th time this week(damaged/lost bag with gun in it). It was found eventually, another story. Anyway, today at the Frontier ticket counter waiting on the manager, a TSA employee decided to approach me and whisper and point/motion from about 15 feet away that I should cover up the weapon on my hip. Now I knew what she was saying but I got a little closer so I can hear for certain. Once again with big eyes wide open, she quietly told me that "I should cover that", I told her "I am not required by law to do so and that I am perfectly legal as long as I don't attempt to go past the security check point, check the laws, your boss or the police over there if you don't believe me". The response was"oh okay, mmmmm". She seemed a little slow, and not sure what to think. I would hate to see her impose her assertive side. Lol. She just stood there for a few more minutes in a daze and watched me walk off after I completed my business with Frontier. Little scary, but I will write the TSA a little letter. It's our job to educate these folks, should not have to educate the TSA but apparently some need it.
I know this is a little outside the limits of this thread but if falls under the catagory in a way. End result, Boise airport is still good to go.
