OK guys, here is the deal. I started a thread by the same title over on Calguns.net and it grew to behemoth proportions. I am currently convinced that the Girls and Guns thread is one of the reasons that Calguns.net got #4 gun site on the net. However, it got closed by Kestryll due to indecency and somewhat lewd behavior. While it was fun to watch my thread grow by 2,000 views a day and nearly hit 1,000,000 views, it did stray from its original intent by a wide margin. Therefore, I shall begin anew here with some more clearly defined rules.

1) This thread is for posting CLEAN pictures of your female loved ones and friends with guns or other projectile-launching weapons (Bows are cool, I am a total archery fan :) )
2) You must actually KNOW the woman/women in the picture.
3) Please, keep the comments G rated. I am sure most of us (self included) love women dearly but please, no digital cat-calling or the like. Let us keep this thread classy.

Follow the rules and get crazy!

I will start with some of my friend, Mollie. She is sporting my Ruger Single Six and Ruger 10/22.

This is my best friend's fiancee, Bree, with my Ruger MKII.

This is my former co-worker, Aaliyah. This is her first shooting trip and first time ever handling a firearm at the local shooting range's open trap night. The shotgun is a Remington Spartan O/U in 12ga.

Sometime this month I'll be planning my first range trip, and will be dragging my wife and her sister along.  I will try to remember to bring my camera along and get some pics of the womenfolk as they outshoot me.

I'm not sure of any particular reason other then at some point the membership voted for it.

I've seen people use them, but they are required to get the permission of every single person and/or owner of all gear that might be in the picture - if anyone says no, then no pictures.

too many tinfoil hats maybe....

She may be a little too young for open carry but that doesn't mean that she can't have the gear. P-22 in a custom holster

The horse is a bit media shy and demanded that I conceal his identity. He hates the idea of his mom seeing him on the interwebz in some compromising position.

What? she's a girl, she's got a gun. Totally on topic:D

I think the pony might be a bit of an anti though. Either that or he wants legalized silencers. Loud noises scare him.

It's sunny, and in the desert... probably a safe bet they are in fact hot.

I see how it is... we spend countless hours researching, analyzing, and compiling the maze known as the California Penal code, and can't get a sticky on that thread... but this thread is stickied?

I like the guns in these pics too (and the firearms aren't bad either) as much as the next guy... but what gives?  We need our open carry fliers stickied!

That was my unintentional doing. I asked for the thread to be moved over to the General Discussion area for max exposure and Mike said he would sticky it high.

Hope it doesn't make too many people angry.

Well I can't post since no pictures of me with a gun yet. I could use one of Nomadds guns I guess. LOL but seriously we are heading over to discount gun here shortly to see if they still have any of the glock 19s on sale. If so I will probably be putting down a deposit so I can get my own gun so I don't have to do the whole rent thing all the time. I still want the sig 22 too but I can wait another 30 days or so for that one.

Agreed. The intent of this thread is to be kept as family friendly as possible. As such, we should have the pictures err on the side of modesty.

Also, to set a standard for all the youngun's out there, lets try (going forward) to show pictures with good firearm safety practices (triggers, fingers, etc)

This is Jenn.
She's firing a 12 Gauge Shot Gun with 2 0 Buckshot.
It's not my gun so I don't know much about it.

Ask her to try to 'lean into' the gun, not away from it. Very common with woman for some reason to see that. Every woman I've asked to lean into it suddenly has tons of fun when their groups suddenly tighen WAY up! I love that look on their face after something so simple.

My wife still does that for the first few shots everytime she goes shooting with me. She starts out frustrated for those few, then leans in and starts nailin' the steel. The one time she grabbed a pistol at home while I was away, she says she actually remembered, but yet when we go out for 'fun' it happens EVERY time hahahaha.

It looks like she's shooting cross-dominant too. That's not a biggie though I've shot cross dominant my whole life.

I get told all the time to stop leaning back too. For me its I think its more of my balance feels off.

Well... You are correct in stating that your balance is off... When the gun recoils in a firm grip the energy is transfered straight down your arms and into your shoulders.  This will cause your entire body to lean back.  If you are already leaning back then you will really be off balance in a backward position.  Leaning into it gives you a much more firm position and does not allow the firearm to travel as much.
