Will be in Riverton for a couple days and was wondering if anybody could recommend a firearms & pet friendly hotel with a good breakfast?

I understand there is a casino not far South of town and a really good steak house in some small town past the casino.

Is the bar on main street still around, the one that had minnow races many years ago?

If you see somebody wandering around openly carrying a 1911 it might just be me :D

I haven't been to Riverton in MANY years.  The little town with the good food was Hudson.  We had dinner there for our first anniversary,  36 years ago.

Yes it is Svilars and it was superb eats, good prices and great food was not open carrying, but I did have a pistol with me for diner as i do not drink alcohol but rarely.

Riverton was not bad but I did get some strange looks openly carrying and a woman with kids did make a small scene in the golden coral by getting up and moving as far away from me as possible since I had a gun.
